There has always been a tug-of-war competition between Apple and Samsung. This time is no exception.
At the CES 2014 being held at Las Vegas, Samsung announced that its new
flagship device, Galaxy S5, may come to market as soon as April of this
year.
The executive vice president, Lee Young Hee, told that Samsung is trying to work on the Iris Recognition Technology which could then be implemented in its devices, but still they are not sure whether or not this technology will come along the new Galaxy S5.

Not necessary to say, Samsung is planning this to compete Apple for its Finger Print Detection Technology of iPhone 5.
The only certain thing at this point of time is that the new Galaxy S5 would come along with an improved variant of Galaxy Gear SmartWatch. This improved Galaxy Gear will have a more sleeker design and better functionality.
