The fastest Smartphone in the world: Huawei Ascend D Quad

Huawei launched its Ascend D Quad, fastest Smartphone in the world, this uses its own developed quad-core processor. So far, Huawei has seen some success in the low-end Smartphone sector, but at an event at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, it was clear the company wants to move up in the world and compete with the likes of Apple, HTC and Samsung Electronics. The D quad has a 1280X720, 4.5" screen like the LG Spectrum for Verizon, and like the Spectrum, the screen looks impossibly tight. It has a higher-density panel than Apple's Retina Display, and the IPS+ screen is really bright, with little reflectivity.

The Company launchings are the Ascend D Quad and the Ascend D Quad XL, both uses Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), comes with a 4.5" high-resolution screen and an 8MP rear camera that can record movies at 1080p. Both phones also have 8 GB of internal memory.

Price of Ascend D Quad and Quad XL
Price has yet not been announced but expected to be around 20 to 50 percent cheaper than competing products and devices available in the market. The strategy of lower pricing may be because company is for the first time switching from low range to high range phones.Phones will only be supporting 3G now, and by the second half of 2012 the company will ship Long Term Evolution versions as has been reported by the company head.

Huawei's New Processor and Battery life
The most important part is the processor. The K3V2 processor uses a 64-bit architecture and a clock speed running at either 1.2 or 1.5 GHz, which will help make the Ascend D Quad family the fastest phones in the world. Going to attract many with this feature, as the world loves speed and Huawei is committed to give speed.
Another important aspect which Huawei has kept in the mind is the battery life, they have given an option to the users by letting the K3V2 processor switch to a low-power option when users are doing less computing intensive tasks and then speed up when they are playing games or doing high computing jobs. Huawei has also added some proprietary power management technology to improve battery performance.
The main difference between the Ascend D Quad and the Ascend D Quad XL lies in the size of the battery-1800 mAh versus 2500 mAh. The bigger battery makes the Ascend D Quad XL model slightly thicker-0.42" versus 0.35"(inch).
Since, company is new to this high end Smartphone market, to get well with the consumers they have thought to launch a tablet soon after the two models get launched. The devices are impressive, attractive, sleek and gorgeous in look and feel.
