Tungnath - Chandrashila Trek of Chopta, Uttarakhand is popularly known as the Mini Switzerland or The Switzerland of India.

We did the Tungnath - Chandrashila trek from Chopta on 30th November, 2018. Luckily, we got a very clear atmosphere up there during our trek and we were able to see many well known peaks from the Chandrashila summit. The temperature at chandrashila in the early morning could be around 6-7 degree Celsius.

To name a few, we were able to see the Chaukhamba peaks, Nilkanth, Nandadevi, Kala Parbat and the Bandarpooch from the Chandrashila peak.

We were lucky to see a never ending range of mountains, one mountain after another like the waves in an ocean, which created a magical sight of An Ocean Of Mountains.

I have tried to capture the sight in my video but frankly the beauty of that view can never be justified in any photography or through videography. To have to witness it LIVE in order to appreciate it real beauty.
