For my interest to know things and what's going on across the globe (especially related to Technology), recently I have been reading a lot of things on the internet. Today I came across an article on Carrerealism written by +Belen Chacon which seemed to be really interesting and debatable.
Here I'm going to give you a sweet summary of that article (which will actually cover all of what is main idea of that article) leaving aside the other useless stuff in that. Still if you wish to read that article, I've provided a direct link to it at the end of the post.
People most of the time consider their Hobby as their Passion. But actually they are two different things with a very thin line of separation between them.
Hobbies Change
Think about what were your passions when you were in school/college. Now, think about what are your passions now. Your Passions have changed right? That's because they weren't your passion. They were merely interest/hobby that entertained you or the leisurely activities that you enjoyed.
Yes, but they are less likely to do so for some strong reasons:
1] Passions are not mere interest. They are strong interest for something. If you are interested in something you'll spend most, if not all, of you free time to fuel your passions.
2] When you are passionate about something, you love and enjoy doing that thing. This is where Passion has a higher hand over Hobby.
