Sometimes it is beneficial to set the priorities for the processes working on your system.

- Open the task manager. Shortcut for opening task manager is (Ctrl+Shift+Esc).
- Right Click on the application from the list whose priority you want to set and click on 'go to Process'
- This will direct you to that process. Now right click that process and click on 'Set Priority'.
- This will again show you a list of 6 different priority values from which you can choose from.
- After you select the priority value, you'll be asked for conformation. Click on 'Change Priority'.
