How to set priority in Windows for process

Sometimes it is beneficial to set the priorities for the processes working on your system.
Here, I'll show you how you can do that in 5 easy steps.
  1. Open the task manager. Shortcut for opening task manager is (Ctrl+Shift+Esc).
  2. Right Click on the application from the list whose priority you want to set and click on 'go to Process'

  3. This will direct you to that process. Now right click that process and click on 'Set Priority'.
  4. This will again show you a list of 6 different priority values from which you can choose from.


  5. After you select the priority value, you'll be asked for conformation. Click on 'Change Priority'.
