The FastStone MaxView, is a really small but awesome software. In a small package of about 1.9MB it is bundled with a hell lot of properties and features.
Features:
1) A clean and sharp preview of images.
2) Provides on-screen shortcuts for various editing tasks.
3) Provides HotKey feature for various functions.
4) Easy navigation (which is also supported by mouse scroll).
5) Can be directly connected to scanner and printer.
6) Can easily sync images from camera or any other device.
7) Supports full screen mode.
8) Supports 19 different file extensions. That's all practically all types of image formats that you can possibly imagine.
9) Handles .GIF files very easily.
Usually the inbuilt image viewer do not handle .GIFs very well. They open them in browsers for preview, which makes it annoying when you need to navigate among different .GIFs. If you are a fan of .GIFs you are gonna love this software.
