When we buy a new smartphone, we do not miss to have a look on the autonomy claimed by the manufacturer.

A study says that it is even the first thing we will be likely to look. Yet we should also ask ourselves how fast charges the battery of the device.

Indeed, failing to really solve the problems of autonomy of smartphones, some players in the mobile phone industry have developed solutions that can charge the batteries faster.

The Qualcomm company, for example, the Snapdragon SoC equip the majority of high-end Android smartphones, provides for a while a technology called Quick Charge.

According to Qualcomm, Quick Charge 3.0 was designed to be 38% faster than version 2.0 and is even two times more efficient than version 1.0. Therefore, it would allow to increase the charging of a battery from 0% to 80% in the space of 35 minutes, whereas, according to the manufacturer, a "conventional" machine without Quick Charge may require a period of an hour and a half.

Moreover, we also know that this technology will be offered as an option for manufacturers who will use Snapdragon SoCs 820, 620, 618, 617 and 430.

So if you want to enjoy it, it will not only check what is system on chip in the device but if Quick Charge 3.0 is mentioned in the data sheet.

After, you may be wondering how this is possible. Qualcomm says it uses an algorithm to "determine what level of power at some point seek to achieve optimal power transfer while maximizing efficiency. "

Otherwise, according to the first rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S7, some versions of it will be equipped with Snapdragon 820 SoC compatible with Quick Charge 3.0.
